Job Description
UTA seeks a Specialist to support UTA's Learning and Development team specific to Early Careers. The position will run point on a broad spectrum of tasks relating to guiding, training, and developing Early Career colleagues through programming. Qualified candidates must have precise, detailed-oriented organizational skills, excellent communication and writing abilities, and an eagerness to learn. Proficiency in business writing and PowerPoint/deck building a plus. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment, and experience in an office environment.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
• Lead the planning, scheduling and preparation of UTA University, UTA's in house learning program
• Assist in managing Early Career content, tracking for accuracy and solving business problems through learning materials
• Support Learning & Development Manager in running point on Early Career programs
• Foster relationships with new and existing employees with the goal to guide and provide resources needed to achieve their career goals
• Act as coach, emphasizing customer-service and providing support towards career development
• Incorporate feedback from across the organization to support a customized approach toward customer service and problem solving
• Assist in research, creation, and delivery of content
• Manage program administration, including communications, tracking, schedules, data, and more
• Coordinate, implement and perform a broad spectrum of tasks relating to initiatives and programs across Learning & Development programming which require independent decision making and judgment, effective communications, time management skills and ability to connect the dots across multiple related tasks
• Occasional support of company-wide People (HR) Department Programming
What You Will Need
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• 5+ years of relevant HR and program coordination experience
• Employee relations and/or program administration strongly desired
• Demonstrated passion for people, learning, and helping employees succeed
• Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Proven team player, with the ability to work independently as part of a team
• Agile approach with a willingness to roll up sleeves to reach results
• Strong cultural competency and passion for diversity, inclusivity, equity, and belonging work
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
• Ability to solve problems, take ownership and accountability
• Excellent customer service and follow up skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Knowledge using Asana, PowerPoint, and Excel programs is a plus
