Verve is seeking a Senior Assistant, enthusiastic about Talent representation, to support the Partner/Head of Talent with key business initiatives and administrative duties as needed. This is an opportunity to collaborate closely with the head of a division, gain firsthand insights into deal negotiation, and benefit from mentorship by industry leaders. The ideal candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and have a desire to learn the business and pursue a career in talent representation. Duties:

  • Interface with high-profile clients, managers, and executives with utmost professionalism
  • Answer/roll a high volume of phone calls; Manage a high volume of email
  • Coordinate meetings
  • Prepare expense reports
  • Have an understanding of accounting, including client paperwork, diligently pursue payments, and manage payment grids
  • Send and track client submissions/materials
  • Arrange travel
  • Provide script coverage
  • Effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of full-time assistant experience at an agency/management company; Talent division preferred
  • Strong interest in Talent representation
  • Professional personal presentation (dress and verbal communication) is a must, as client interaction is common
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills, strong follow-up
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Must practice discretion at all times and safeguard confidential information
  • Ability to make sound decisions efficiently and effectively using practical approaches
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
  • Avid consumer of media
  • BA/BS degree required


Salary Description: $24.00/hour
