Job Description
UTA seeks a Client Social Impact - Senior Associate in our Los Angeles office who will be responsible for supporting and guiding client impact goals and initiatives across a number of departments and issue areas. We are looking for a highly organized individual with a keen attention to detail and knack for data tracking and systems management. The Senior Associate will report to the Director of Client Social Impact and support the department on key client initiatives and strategy development, while also managing his/her own list of client projects and non-profit /impact organization relationships.
The Senior Associate will advise clients on best path to achieve philanthropic goals and deepen social impact across myriad cause areas, as well as maintain relationships with external partners for potential client engagement opportunities on behalf of the Foundation. Internally will liaise with key stakeholders across departments on behalf of the client team, and partner with larger team on collaborative hosted events and internal campaigns that feature clients. Additionally, the Senior Associate will work collaboratively with the larger Foundation team, supporting signature initiatives that feature client collaboration across UTA's internal focus areas (Climate, Civics, Mentorship, etc)
The UTA Foundation Client Social Impact Team works across UTA's departments and clients including, but not limited to, actors, writers, musicians, athletes, digital influencers, writers and more.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $85,000 commensurate with experience and skills.
What You Will Do
• Manage client relationships and advise clients on philanthropic goals and strategies for achieving them.
• Represent the UTA Foundation in client meetings as part of broader cross-agency support to service clients and bring in new business.
• Track and maintain client activations and philanthropic touch points for internal and external communications purposes
• Maintain, update, and build out research specific to clients' philanthropic interests
• Monitor trends in the social impact and entertainment space to inform and enhance Foundation practices
• Support and help to create systems that promote efficiency and collaboration within the team and across servicing departments
• Support and collaborate with Foundation executives on multi-pronged projects and client initiatives both internally and externally
• Develop and maintain relationships across both internal departments and external partners
• Research, identify, and cultivate relationships within the non-profit space to keep full team up-to-date on key partners' campaigns and focus areas; Critical review of potential non-profit partners
• Track organizations and maintain internal system databases (client team changes, organizational materials and updates, tagging)
• Participate in weekly client meetings
• Prepare for and participate in events on behalf of the Foundation (hosted and external; clients and non-profits; digital and in-person)
What You Will Need
• 5+ years of relevant nonprofit or entertainment experience, ideally in programmatic or partnerships roles that required creativity, strategic planning, and collaboration
• Impeccable writing skills; ability to craft messaging around strategy and execution ideation, and nonprofit partnership recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex or abstract ideas into concise and clear communiques for a diverse audience
• Demonstrated experience with liaising with high-profile stakeholders; Confidentiality is a must
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and eye toward streamlining systems
• Demonstrated interest in entertainment and sports
• Enthusiasm to troubleshoot and think strategically
