Job Description
Titmouse is looking to add another HR Coordinator to our team! This position will report to the Senior HR Manager and will primarily support the New York location with some responsibilities for all US employees. This position is onsite 5 days/week in the NY studio.
Overall, the HR Coordinator (NY) coordinates the flow of paperwork related to new hires, rehires, change of project or position and terminations so that employees are onboarded correctly and paid accurately.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND REQUIRED ABILITIES
• Basic knowledge and experience (at least 1-2 years) in Human Resources.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet goals or deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets. Ability to create spreadsheets based on research about various areas of responsibility (e.g., new hires, transfers, and benefits). Aptitude with Google Calendar, gChat and Drive.
• Professional and positive communication style and skill.
• Maintain confidentiality over all matters and proprietary information.
• Communicate effectively with employees when it comes to answering questions about onboarding, open enrollment, training, and other benefits in the employee life cycle.
• Cooperative and collaborative attitude with team members and all employees.
• Develop and maintain good judgment about when to escalate matters to the Senior Human Resources Manager and/or the VP of Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create, distribute and track start paperwork as needed.
• Update and maintain employee files.
• Enter and update employee information where needed (such as the HRIS, payroll notes, HR calendar, and benefits software).
• Add intern information into the HRIS and obtain necessary paperwork.
• Maintain data in BambooHR; continuous clean-up; fix issues as they arise.
• Answer questions from production accountants (re benefits, payroll issues, etc.)
• Research and resolve payroll/deduction issues.
• Handle company required training (communicate with employees, assign courses, track what's pending and completed, upload certificates to HRIS).
• Answer general employee questions and support as needed.
• Send employee notices as needed (e.g., COBRA notices, Unemployment Notices, and End Date Notices).
• Assist the HR team in LA with the benefits reconciliation meetings (sourcing information from HRIS and benefits portal).
• Send the starts/changes/ends weekly email to producers.
• Take point with the monthly Anniversary Pins Report.
• Assist with the Quarterly Reports as required.
• Take the lead in weekly Orientation meetings for NY.
• Generate various reports from HRIS, benefits portal, training portal, etc. as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

$26.25 - $28.75 an hour

salary will be commensurate with experience within the stated range
