Responsibilities Overview
We're looking for curious, driven individuals with a love of movies and an aptitude for business strategy, psychology, sociology, and/or storytelling to join our Insights team. The ideal candidate is not only analytical and skilled at working with large datasets, but also a good communicator who loves translating insights into actionable strategies creative people can understand. The Coordinator, International Market Research will assist the Marketing Strategy and Insights team with the design, execution, analysis and presentation of quantitative and qualitative market research projects to provide insights and recommendations to the Theatrical Marketing and Production teams.
Responsibilities Include:
• Support the team at all stages of custom research projects (e.g., questionnaire design, link testing, data analysis, slide creation)
• Analyze large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data and turn data into actionable, story-driven insights
• Create visually appealing presentations in Power Point that easily communicate strategy and learnings for non-research audiences
• Coordinate weekly international tracking survey, ensuring accuracy of title and release date information in the top 10 markets
• Maintain a number of reporting databases critical to the department (e.g., ad testing, exit polling results, talent popularity polls).
• Populate and proof data on various documents and charts for internal distribution
• Analyze test screenings by synthesizing closed-ended and open-ended responses
• Update weekly calendars and charts
• Provide back-up support to the administrative roles within the department (e.g., scheduling, Finance)
• Desk research
• Be a vocal and active contributor to brainstorming sessions / meetings
• Be excited by movies and in tune with current releases
Basic Qualifications and Skills
• BA or BS with a track record of high achievement
• 1+ years of professional work experience in insights, research or marketing strategy within a studio or agency environment
• High comfort level with analyzing and synthesizing quantitative information
• Excellent visual communication skills (high PowerPoint proficiency required), with the ability to create engaging, data-driven presentations that effectively tell a story for non-research audiences
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including expertise in data manipulation using formulas, filters, formatting and advanced functions
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• A demonstrated interest in international consumer behavior and cultural awareness. Curious about adapting content and marketing strategy for diverse, global audiences.
• Strong interest in entertainment marketing, social science trends, emerging media and technology
• Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Digital and internet savvy
• Foreign languages and/or international experience a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 56,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
