Job Description
The Senior Coordinator of Football Data and Analytics, Tracking Data Analyst will work within the National Football League's Data and Analytics organization to enhance Football Operations initiatives with an emphasis on Officiating, Replay, and Game Innovation. Primary responsibilities include (i) designing and supporting innovative reports to supplement NFL rules administration, (ii) auditing of officiating and replay data, (iii) use of tracking data to enhance and support the decision-making process of officiating and (iv) supporting initiatives football analytics innovation (including the Big Data Bowl). Primarily, this role will support the league's use of data and analytics to innovate and improve the game.

Responsibilities
• Translate data and analytics findings to Officiating and Data and Analytics executives
• Measure and build reports summarizing key metrics from the game
• Disseminate weekly analytics reports related to the game
• Develop new metrics to support long-term game innovation projects
• Work with NFL and external vendors in the deployment of new technology to support game day operations
• Auditing of the game, including metrics related to players, officiating, replay, and innovation
• Leveraging tracking data to support the game
• Perform other ad-hoc data analysis related to officiating/football operations

Required Qualifications:
• Expertise with the rules, officiating, and administration of the NFL game
• 2 to 3 years work experience using sports data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to organize and govern highly sensitive and confidential data
• REQUIRED: 3-5 years of experience in a statistical programming language (e.g., R or Python).
• MUST HAVE: Bachelor's degree and currently pursuing a Master's in statistics, data science, data engineering, or computer science.
