Job Description

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

The sales department is seeking a friendly, positive, self-motivated individual whose primary responsibilities will be to provide a variety of administrative support and increase productivity as a Sales Assistant to the sales organization. This will include assisting the Local Account Executives and the National Sales Manager. This assistant role will also include learning traffic and applying commercial instructions. Must thrive in a team environment, have a strong work ethic, be detail oriented and be able to work independently in a fast-paced work culture. The Sales Assistant position is vital in helping FOX29 partners grow. Be a part of a successful team that strives to exceed customer expectations.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Accurate order and copy entry and revisions in Wide Orbit for broadcast and digital
- Contract maintenance and reconciliation
- Assist in the handling of and resolving billing discrepancies
- Ability to perform at a high level, multitask efficiently and meet deadlines in this fast-paced environment
- Provide support to sales staff and sales management team with duties as assigned
like Creating Proposals and Research

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Sales Assistant must have good communication skills and be able to interface with the sales team
- Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
- Broadcast and digital sales experience preferred
- Proficiency with Wide Orbit Traffic and Media Sales, PowerPoint, Word and Excel preferred
- Must be highly organized, dependable, and detailed oriented
- Professional appearance is a must
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and no DUIs
