The D2C Analytics and Customer Retention Team sits at the center of Warner Music Group within the WMX division. We drive e-commerce success to customer insights and data analytics. We are a dynamic team that develops strategies to enhance customer retention and deepen connections between fans and artists. By leveraging data to create personalized experiences, we ensure that Warner Music group meets and anticipates audience needs. Our work is crucial for sustaining growth and loyalty in a competitive market, positioning us as a cornerstone of the company's strategic initiatives.

Your role:

As a D2C Analyst you will be crucial in driving data-informed strategies that enhance customer loyalty. As an analyst, you'll dive into the world of data, turning insights into strategies that keep our fans and customers engaged and loyal. You'll collaborate with passionate colleagues, maintain dynamic dashboards, and provide valuable insights that influence key business decisions. Your goal will also be to ensure that internal employees strive to make data-informed decisions and optimize their e-commerce strategy based on past campaigns and launches. Working in our team, you'll be shaping the future of music e-commerce!

Here you'll get to:
• Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and overall D2C performance metrics
• Manage internal team KPI tracking and foster feedback loop with team to garner improvements
• Set up and maintain store traffic, revenue and shipping reports
• Generate and maintain dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with customer retention specialist and brand management team to optimize conversion rate, customer retention and revenue
• Administrate analytics and data platforms
• Develop useful data-related tools and resources for internal company use
• Collaborate with campaign management to set data-informed campaign goals
• Design A/B and multivariate tests to be carried out to artists' stores and fan communication
• Identify trends and opportunities in customer purchasing patterns
• Segment audiences for advanced marketing and advertising targeting
• Train internal stakeholders on dashboards and reports

About you:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3+ years professional experience in analytics, statistician or similar role
• Experience working in e-commerce
• Proficiency in SQL – ability to write complex queries from scratch from multiple tables, creating appropriate joins, extracting and manipulating data, formatting fields
• Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake)
• Proven analysis experience and quantifiable results
• Extensive knowledge of statistical analysis concepts
• Strong background with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Dashboard-building experience in business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Domo, etc.
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• High level of motivation with ability to work as well autonomously as collaboratively
• Partner effectively across departments and stakeholders
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with both creative and business oriented colleagues and partners

We'd love it if you also had:
• Experience using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar digital marketing analytics platforms
• Proficiency in Python and/or R

Salary Range

$65,000 to $70,000 Annually

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
