CNN seeks a Talent Executive Assistant to provide a range of administrative support to show Anchor(s). The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, polished, professional, and eager; someone able to prioritize while handling a demanding, ever-changing calendar for the Anchor(s). Importantly, to be successful, the Talent Executive Assistant must be able to work with high-profile executives and guests with ease, and exercise good judgement and discretion. Additionally, someone who is energetic and brings a positive demeanor while working autonomously, and problem-solves when all the details may not be available.

Your Role Accountabilities...

This position represents the Anchor talent and interacts with department employees, senior management, other Bureaus and Corporate, high-profile talent and political figures, as well as numerous internal and external clients which requires a high level of diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for all administrative functions, from the mundane to the very complex
• Schedule appointments, maintain and update daily calendar. Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparation and distribution of briefing materials, agendas, notes and handouts.
• Arrange travel, transportation, and hotel accommodations via our corporate travel company, and manage all up-to-the minute changes including those during off hours. Manage and monitor travel prep and travel with talent, performing administrative tasks and errands.
• Coordinate with other department executive and administrative assistants to provide support for the Anchor.
• Answer and screen calls, route callers, take messages, respond to internal and external inquiries, and provide routine information within the scope of authority.
• Coordinate and manage autonomously with all departments which involve the talent (show teams, public relations, special productions, etc.)
• Manage expense reports, purchase orders, and check requests. Monitor monthly expenses, reconcile budget, and refer discrepancies for resolution in a timely manner.
• Compose emails, forms, procedures, proposals, and other documents and correspondence, as appropriate.
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of presentations and/or briefing documents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience...
• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience is preferred.
• Minimum five years' executive or talent administrative experience.
• Must be willing to be on-call on a 24x7 basis, reachable by mobile phone, Slack, email, apps, etc.
• Must be proficient in Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite, Google docs, Slack, Zoom, Box, Dropbox, and database management.
• Candidate must be able to communicate effectively at the executive level and brief internal and external stakeholders.
• The candidate must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational and administrative management skills.
• Must be up to date on current/world events.
• Must be familiar with political calendar and events.
• Candidate must also demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, and an ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to initiate and follow-through on tasks independently – strong self-starter who will take charge and provide support to Anchor(s) in an efficient manner.
• Ability to multitask, assess priorities and always maintain composure and diplomacy.
• Must adhere to significant confidentiality strictures; must be discreet.
• Must have legal status to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to travel at a moment's notice with talent, team, and/or executives.
• Must possess superb integrity and professionalism.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $55,998.00 - $103,996.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.

Salary Details
Salary Range: $55,998 to $103,996 Per Year ($ USD)
