Sr. Analyst, Pricing and Promotions

The Job

As a member of the WB Games Pricing and Promotions Team, you will be responsible for analyzing data about digital video game sales and translating it into reporting and recommendations that improve our performance in digital marketplaces. You will support the Account Management team in promotional planning, and also represent and speak to Pricing and Promotions plans and strategies across teams at Warner Bros. Games.

The Daily
• Liaise with internal teams to represent Pricing and Promotions tactics and strategies
• Spearhead novel analyses to deliver cutting edge insights that drive WB's competitive advantage in digital commerce environments
• Conduct and present analyses that identify issues and opportunities impacting our sales performances on each platform, with actionable recommendations that lead to increased revenues
• Take ownership of shared partner data, determining what's available, what is useful, and what is missing, while staying abreast of changing features and their ramifications for our business. Make recommendations to Account Management and Pricing and Promotions based on platform expertise
• Work with Pricing and Promotions manager to construct the SQL views underlying dashboards, as well as the dashboards themselves for reporting around digital promotional performance
• Assist the Director of Pricing and Promotions in the maintenance and execution of a forward-looking campaign forecasting dataset

The Essentials
• 4-6 years of experience in sales planning & analysis, data analytics, sales operations, or consulting roles demonstrating a foundation in sales and analysis principles
• Exceptional reporting skills with an emphasis on sharp and professional PowerPoint presentations
• Domain expertise in the video games industry, its marketplaces, and its consumer trends
• MBA or MS in Analytics
• Experience building Tableau dashboards for automated reporting
• Familiarity with SQL and database queries

The Nice to Haves
• Experience with R or Python
• Sales training and experience
• Account management experience

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $66,510.00 - $123,519.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
