Job Description
The People & Culture Partner is a key member within Warner Bros. Discovery's People and Culture team. Located in Burbank, CA, this role is critical to ensuring operation excellence in supporting the Legal People & Culture (P&C) team as well as the business by providing solutions to employee-related matters, maintaining a balance between being a strategic business partner, and employee champion. This position will continuously challenge the status quo and develop initiatives that ensure Warner Bros. Discovery remains an employer of choice.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who brings both strategic perspective and strong tactical execution of a full range of People & Culture initiatives. In this dynamic culture, the role will serve as the primary partner to the business and the liaison with the broader HR community of Warner Bros. Discovery. Candidates for this position should be innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and be able to engage with colleagues across level, location, and discipline. The role must effectively work in a fast-paced creative environment, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the function, founded in sound strategy.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Acts as the first point of contact for WBD Legal employees for P&C related inquiries; responding to employee inquiries and other correspondences (i.e., employee questions, performance review support, exit interviews, etc.)
• Partners with Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards to support WBD Legal's recruitment and hiring needs; Partnering with appropriate Regional HR counterpart(s) as needed.
• Provides thoughtful advice and counsel to leaders on performance issues, supports employees coaching, employee counseling, performance improvement plans, investigations, etc.
• Assists with managing the Annual Total Rewards Process, including data validation, providing guidance to planners, and generating ad-hoc reporting.
• Assists with organization design and change management efforts/projects, enabling agility and clarity to streamline and implement new structures, roles, and/or processes that create efficiency and support shifting business demands.
• Assist in managing WBDs lifecycle approach to talent management focused on workforce planning, on-boarding, development, performance management, succession planning, talent movement and retention using people analytics and insights. Facilitates ongoing talent discussions, and development plans for client groups. Direct point of contact for the Business, Finance and External Workforce Team regarding temporary staffing needs.
• Advises on employee relations matters in partnership with People Relations (PR) and Employment Legal.
• Responds to inquiries and interprets and communicates department/corporate policies and procedures.
• Partners with P&C Centers of Excellence (COE) functions to deploy consistent and effective programs, including seamless support, guidance, and execution of programs and deliverables for the business.
• Manages special projects and provides analytical and operational support on ad-hoc initiatives/requests as assigned.

Qualifications & Experiences
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
• 5+ years of experience within Human Resources, preferably in a generalist or HR Business partner role.
• Experience working with lawyers/attorneys is highly desirable.
• Experience working with and/or supporting global teams is highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills and with robust aptitude in data management and metrics
• Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow and develop
• Thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• Strong communication and ability to build strong relationships with leaders and employees
• Good judgment and ability to balance the needs of the Company and employees
• Exceptional organization and project management skills
• Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices
• Experience in working with a culturally diverse workforce
• Knowledge of national, state and local Employee and Labor Relations practices, laws and regulations
• Project management and process improvement experience a plus

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $72,240.00 - $134,160.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
