Imagine yourself as a Senior Workforce Analyst where your natural curiosity for discovering analytical insights and trends will help ensure we are making data-driven decisions within Human Resources (HR) and across Disney Studios. In this role, you will be able to blaze new paths in this data rich environment through analyzing workforce data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve the employee experience. You will have the chance to leverage your expertise and knowledge to maximize the Company's investment in our employees and provide decision support for workforce related issues.
Your Responsibilities:
• Consult with HR partners to proactively identify and prioritize analytical opportunities to answer key business questions
• Lead analysis of workforce data from multiple sources to inform decision-making for various businesses
• Translate data analyses into clear, compelling stories and insights that drive action for HR and business partners
• Develop measurement and reporting portfolio that provides visibility for key stakeholders to engagement and impact of workforce initiatives
• Create repeatable processes to systematically collect, track and report on evolving workforce data
• Identify and drive process improvements that will enhance efficiency, accuracy and value of data collection and analysis
• Collaborate closely with internal community of HR analysts, decision scientists, data engineers and visualization/product analysts to ensure alignment on project prioritization and timely deliverables
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics, research or a related role
• Exceptional ability to analyze data, draw meaningful conclusions and present findings in a way that tells a story for non-technical audiences
• Proven experience working with survey data and combining with other data to take analysis/insights to the next level (e.g. developing personas)
• Strong ability to manage projects, work autonomously and make independent decisions to meet deliverable timelines with minimal oversight
• Agility to adapt to fluid project timelines and business needs
• Meticulous attention to detail that ensures accuracy in data analysis and reporting with curiosity to independently follow a problem through to root cause
• Initiative to proactively build trusting relationships, ask clarifying questions, share points of view, and connect dots to other relevant projects
• A problem-solving mindset that actively seeks opportunities to minimize complexity for stakeholders
• Passion for continuous improvement with a strong desire to continue learning in order to stay relevant to business changes and industry trends
• Familiarity and ability to leverage data programs such as: Microsoft, Snowflake, Smartsheets, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Statistics, Data Analytics / Business Analytics or a related field - or equivalent experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $113,600 to $138,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
