Franchise Management & Marketing Associate (Classic Animation/HBO)

Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products Inc. seeks an Associate, Global Franchise Management & Marketing department. The Associate will support the Director on the CP business for the Classic Animation and HBO portfolios. This role is responsible for the day-to-day facilitation of franchise and marketing initiatives, including review of marketing submissions and supporting the creation of franchise plans, marketing initiatives and marketing materials. They will also support the Manager across other projects as needed.
The position requires a deep knowledge of the Looney Tunes and Hanna Barbara brands along with leading HBO series like the Game of Thrones and The White Lotus. They should have strong written and verbal communication and be comfortable liaising with internal and external parties at various levels, including but not limited to other WBDGCP departments (Category, Retail Business Development, Creative, Finance, Legal, Insights, Themed Entertainment, Digital, etc.), WBD Divisions (Franchise Development, NLC, Home Ent., WBIE, WBA, Adult Swim, etc), vendors, colleagues around the world, etc.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Review, route and approve all licensee and retailer marketing submissions for assigned properties
• Assist in executing franchise strategies and marketing initiatives in support of core franchises and individual properties (e.g. Looney Tunes, Game of Thrones).
• Develop materials for franchise presentation decks, licensee and retailer pitch decks, sizzle videos, and similar related materials needed to drive the business.
• Assist with acquisition, development, approval and use of Theatrical and TV assets.
• Assist in executing social media content strategy and calendar across all platforms and develop innovative marketing approaches to delight and engage fans.
• Obtain necessary internal, external and 3rd party approvals (including Legal, Brand Assurance usage rights, and Talent) for all CP driven marketing materials and assets for licensees and promotional partners
• Maintain Brand Assurance guidelines and ensure timely updates and team communication
• Act as first point of contact for product development and brand related questions
• Coordinate outside resources, agencies and vendors, along with associated deadlines for development, budget and delivery.
• Solicit industry and competitive trend information from Sales/Retail, Category, Creative/Product Development and Global Insights teams as well as external data sources
• Collect and submit updates to the Franchise Monthly Newsletter for Director and Manager
Qualifications & Experience...
Work Experience
• Minimum 3 years marketing experience required
• Previous marketing experience required
• Franchise management experience a plus
• 2+ years entertainment industry experience strongly preferred
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• Bachelor's degree with coursework in business/marketing strongly preferred
Knowledge/Skills
• Significant knowledge of entertainment landscape, particularly Classic Animation franchises and Game of Thrones
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and presentation software programs required
• Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge is a plus
• Clear understanding of marketing principles
• Knowledge of digital platforms and media marketing tools
• Strong understanding of Licensing preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment with changing priorities; possess flexibility and adaptability skills
Other Requirements
• Must be well organized with effective and proven planning and follow-through skills
• Must be a self-starter, dependable, and optimistic
• Knowledge of file set-up, maintenance and filing procedures
• Knowledge of basic math, spelling, grammar, punctuation
• Fluent command of the English language required; second language is a plus.

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $47,466.00 - $88,150.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
