Filmbankmedia, a Joint Venture of Warner Bros., Sony Pictures and NT Digital Partners based in London, is a leader in Non-Theatrical content distribution internationally. Filmbankmedia distributes both blockbuster Feature Films as well as award winning episodic TV content to a variety of commercial markets.
The Finance Assistant supports the Finance team with aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Allocation of payments in accordance with customer remittances into accounting system and resolving payment related queries.
• Liaising with suppliers & resolving queries.
• Performing procedural supplier checks.
• Code & send invoices for approval.
• Assist in the monthly distribution of royalties to licensors.
• Credit card statement reconciliation.
• Assist in approval and checking of T&E claims.
• Assist in sending payment reminders/ statements of accounts/ Box Office Returns to customers.
• Submission of monthly ONS revenue figures
• Cheque handling/ filing
• General finance administration tasks
• Assist in preparation and review of costs areas for the annual budget.
• Assist with preparation of materials required for annual audits.
• Ad-hoc finance queries and projects.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Finance experience.
• Working with commercial and non-commercial stakeholders.
• Responsible, organised and proactive.
• High degree of numeracy with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft office skills, in particular good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Excellent time management in a time pressured environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
