Verve is seeking a driven Senior Assistant to support the Verve Ventures team with key business initiatives and all administrative duties as needed. The ideal candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking and appropriately handling confidential information.
Verve Ventures is the independent film finance and sales team at Verve. The Ventures group’s producorial approach takes high-quality, creator-driven material from script to screen—and everywhere in between.
Ventures is currently out in the marketplace with psychological thriller THE PROCESS starring Don Cheadle, Halle Berry, and Garrett Hedlund; erotic thriller CAROLINA CAROLINE starring Samara Weaving, Kyle Gallner, and Kyra Sedgwick; psychological thriller PALETTE starring Hunter Schafer and Noomi Rapace; and supernatural thriller THE WHISTLER starring Diane Guerrero and Juan Pablo Raba.

You will:
1. Interface with high-profile clients, managers, and executives with utmost professionalism.
2. Complete daily administrative tasks, including answering/rolling a high volume of phone calls, manage a high volume of email, scheduling, and preparing expense reports.
3. On an as needed basis, attending meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to take notes and update relevant grids.
4. Record data on team goals and accomplishments, client performance, marketplace statistics, etc.
5. Liaise with film-making teams to insure VV has key art, trailer, full feature links, still photography (when available) to upload to our system
6. Assist in handling film festival planning, including boking travel, schedule meetings, and handle ticketing requirements.
7. Coordinate buyer screenings from start to finish, including sending invites, tracking RSVPs, and day-of tasks.
8. Liaise with film-making teams to insure VV has key art, trailer, full feature links, still photography (when available) to upload to our system
9. Awareness of and tracking materials and information in the marketplace (sales out of major film festivals, films available for sale, specs, books, IP, etc.)
10. Assist Coordinators in preparing and compile notes from various company-wide meetings, including compiling noteworthy news.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 1 year of full-time assistant experience at an agency/management company.
2. Professional personal presentation (dress and verbal communication) is a must, as client interaction is common
3. Able to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
4. Ability to make sound decisions efficiently and effectively using practical approaches
5. Avid consumer of media
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills, strong follow-up
8. Must practice discretion at all times and safeguard confidential information
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
