The Vice President, Studio Content Platforms
- Architecture will play a key role in the evolution and modernization of IT 's Media Supply Chain S ystems landscape. This person will assess the current application mix to develop and manage a strategy that aligns with the business and ensures the development, implementation, enhancement and support of existing or new applications. This role is a cross -s tudio role spanning
our IT p ortfolios . The net result will be a cohesive and integrated end-to-end SPE Media Supply Chain from production through sales and distribution .

The role will be expected to undertake the following:
• Provide and Drive Forward overall cross studio technical and architectural leadership for the existing and future SPE Media Supply Chain platforms across IT portfolios, with a particular focus on converging Production, Sales, Marketing, and assets workflows where appropriate
• Define and champion a forward-looking transformational technology architecture and roadmap for future Media Supply Chain systems, including but not limited to MovieLabs 2030 and IMF
• Align the studio content and master/metadata policies and strategies and ensure systems developed improve content inventory and quality
• Design and implement an appropriate forward thinking integration strategy covering the various systems and micro services within the existing and future Media Supply Chain
• Responsible for blending emerging technologies with new and existing systems to enable the overall eco-system to stack, scale and evolve as business/industry needs change
• Accountable for reviewing/creating the application Architecture for the SPE Media Supply Chain platforms, providing technical leadership in the selection and evaluation of solutions to satisfy business requirements
• Revolutionize project teams to identify and develop solutions to business problems related to the SPE Media Supply Chain related to a broad selection of business issues
• Impact product roadmap and planning recommending technologies and solutions that result in effective, scalable, secure, and supportable solutions for the SPE Media Supply Chain in order to realise business value
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture group and Solutions Architects across IT portfolios for new strategic initiatives

Responsibilities:
• Define the shared vision and roadmap for Media related technologies at SPE in collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture Council / EA Review Board.
• Define an appropriate transition plan from SPE's existing Media landscape to a fully integrated long term SPE Media Supply Chain platform.
• Actively participate in Product Team technology solutioning decisions in collaboration with IT Portfolio/ PoA Leads and Domain Architects, as necessary.
• Provide independent consulting/advice on challenging technology issues related to the SPE Media Supply Chain.

Requirements:
• 10+ years of software engineering and technical architecture implementation experience
• Minimum 8+ years
of experience in Media & Entertainment industry or domain work experience
• Minimum 6+ years
of direct experience in Media Supply Chain solutions design, development, implementation, support, security, and operations; deep understanding of Media Supply Chain products, processes, and workflows
• 3-5 years of experience managing teams directly & indirectly (projects, squads, etc.)
• Strong leadership experience managing both teams and large scale projects
• Successful and demonstrable implementation of at least one major Media Life Cycle solution in a Production environment
• Experience of leading architecture and development of applications in Cloud based environments
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and lead diverse stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment
• Ability to articulate and influence ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working and implementing in an Agile development environment
• Knowledge of media industry best practices such as MovieLabs 2030 Vision, MovieLabs Visual Language, Interoperable Master Format (IMF), Entertainment Identifier Registry Association ( EIDR )
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional Certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology , Software Engineering or Computer Science
• Master's Degree preferred

The anticipated base salary for this position is $266,000 to $315,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
