Job Description
The Vice President, Security Operations & Security Technology (VP SOST) provides leadership and strategic direction for SPE's on-lot Security Operations and global Security Technology groups. This position is critical to SPE and with a high degree of autonomy.

The position is responsible for an operating and CAPEX budget of approximately $6.5 million annually, and is responsible for adherence to internal controls. Spends majority of time achieving objectives through the coordinated achievement of staff that includes 3 direct reports, 5 additional support staff and approximately 140 contract employees.

Responsibility:
• Provide strategic leadership and support for SPE's Director of Security Operations.
• Lot security operations responsibilities include investigations, guard force, town patrol, threat management, executive protection, event security, security administration and Anti-Piracy programs.
• Key member of the SPOE Incident Management Team (IMT).
• Law enforcement liaison as required.
• Ensure ongoing effective collaboration with Security Technology Group (STG - physical security systems) and the SPE 24/7 GSOC.
• Lead SPE's Security Technology Group (STG) in global mission of implementing enterprise-wide physical security and safety technology programs.
• Technology responsibilities include CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, AED's and systems supporting SPE's mission critical Global Security Operation Center (GSOC).
• Foster S3 & Facilities systems collaboration & integration focusing on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to automate routine tasks. (VEOCI, Archibus, Traction Guest, Lenel, etc.)
• Implement data metric reporting that will lead to improved decision making, operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with Global Sony Corporate Policies, SPE Polices, International jurisdictional authorities and other applicable standards such as GDPR, GISS, MPA, TPN & NFPA.
• Collaborate with SPE stakeholders including IT, Privacy, Facilities, Legal & Investigations to ensure STG projects are internally aligned.

Requirements:
• 10+ years of management experience in the entertainment industry
• 5+ years of experience managing guard force/security operations
• High school diploma preferred

Knowledge of:
• Crisis Management/Incident Command Structure
• Industry trends, products, and services
• Security risk management principles
• General construction practices

The anticipated base salary for this position is $203,100-$282,500. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
