Sr. Coordinator, Scheduling

Job Description

Game Show Network's Scheduling & Acquisitions department is looking for a Senior Scheduling Coordinator to join the team. This position will consist of varied projects on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to coordinating with other members of the scheduling department and other departments on scheduling initiatives for several television networks across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Performing daily functions in the scheduling database to coordinate and maintain the linear schedules for two television networks and other traditional and FAST networks, as needed
• Assisting with asset metadata creation and entry across multiple databases, including Wide Orbit Program
• Creating and compiling detailed metadata for non-linear or other platforms in various formats and communicating with appropriate vendors and clients
• Generating and distributing program schedule grids and reports to internal and external partners
• Working closely with Traffic, Operations and other departments to ensure timings and schedule data accurately flow between databases
• Creating, utilizing, and maintaining various spreadsheets and air orders, and managing contractual run counts, including heavy, self-managed data entry
• Conducting research and record-keeping related to movie content, potential acquisitions, stunt scheduling, standards, and competitive networks
• Scheduling at least one FAST network, including building and scheduling episodes in database
• Tracking payment schedules, monitoring incoming invoices, and communicating with distributors and vendors as needed
• Providing administrative and back-up support for other team members when needed
• Completing special projects and ad-hoc duties as assigned

Required knowledge, skills & abilities:
• The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong eye for detail, an ability to meet deadlines, a positive attitude, and will express eagerness to contribute to the company's success
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and address potential issues before they arise
• Proven attention to detail skills are a must
• Well-organized and excels at time management, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines
• Ability to follow directives but not hesitant to ask questions
• Strong interpersonal skills; works well collaboratively and independently
• Adept on all MS Office software and have solid experience with database applications
• Strong working knowledge of traditional television, multiplatform viewing & new media industries
• Very comfortable with heavy internet research and data entry
• Genuine desire to be proactive during downtime and to help other team members succeed

Education Qualifications:

Required Minimum: BA/BS Degree or commensurate television experience

Experience Qualifications:

Required Minimum: The ideal candidate will have 3+ years television industry experience in linear or OTT Program Scheduling or related experience in Traffic, Promo Scheduling, Media Planning, or Research.

Preferred: Experience with a scheduling or traffic database is a plus, but not required.

$55,365 - $72,000
