As a Coordinator, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, you will play an integral role on supporting the DE&I team at Sony Music Group. In this role, you support the development and execution of internal and external DE&I activities and initiatives at Sony Music Group and within the music industry at large. Key responsibilities include:
• Drafting DE&I communications materials such as MILES newsletters, blog posts, email pitches, and executive briefs
• Manage department annual fiscal budget and end-to-end invoice process, ensuring compliance with all SMG finance policies and procedures
• Provide logistical support and guidance for internal employee resource groups
• Collaborate with internal business partners including People Experience, Corporate Communications, Talent Acquisition, etc. to strategically bring DE&I-related initiatives life
• Work with key external partners and SMG corporate communications to vet and create innovative communications and marketing opportunities and special multimedia projects to highlight key DE&I narratives/initiatives to ensure brand consistency
• Coordinate and support execution of in-person and virtual events, ranging from high-touch influencer dinners to large-scale internal summits

What you'll do:
• Provide administrative support to DE&I Team and direct supervisor
• Provide strategic end-to-end support for several DE&I projects and initiatives, with strategic guidance from SMG's EVP, CDIO and Director, DE&I
• Build relationships with and serve as a liaison to internal/external partners and labels to advance DE&I priorities and efforts
• Gather, research, and interpret data to inform strategic decisions and evolve organizational DE&I framework
Who you are:
• You have a clear passion for advancing diversity, increasing equity, and fostering inclusion, and a working knowledge of the discipline of DE&I
• You have a working proficiency with Microsoft Suite and video/photo editing applications (Canva, Photoshop…etc)
• You are incredibly organized, with general experience in providing administrative support
• You can apply creative thinking to developing engaging concepts
• You can draw conclusions from data/research and propose effective solutions
• You are an excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members and external partners
• You embrace flexibility mindset and are willing and excited to support the team as needed

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
