Responsibilities
What You'll Do
The Manager, Residual Processing is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing personnel and processes within the Residuals Processing Department to ensure high-quality service in all areas related to Performer residuals. This Manager also takes on operational responsibilities in the Director's absence.

• Supervise the residuals processing team. Manage, train, mentor, and evaluate direct reports
• Oversee daily operations, workflow, and scheduling to ensure streamlined, consistent, and error-free processes for all staff.
• Provide feedback to staff on work quality and productivity.
• Review and update process documents maintaining up-to-date department function map for training and process improvement.
• Analyze processes for efficiency and effectiveness, recommending and implementing improvements. Recommend solutions for improving information flow, systems, staffing, and resources.
• Address performer inquiries regarding residual processing via phone and/or email.
• Keep the Director informed of department progress, workflow issues, and performer concerns.
• Collaborate with senior management to define departmental goals and needs.
• Generate monthly reports regarding department status (Residuals Processing).
• Assist in resource management, including scheduling, timecard approvals and equipment allocation.
• Maintain relationships within the organization and with external counterparts to meet goals and provide optimal member service.
• Manage projects and initiatives to completion.
• Perform other duties as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
• Undergraduate degree and/or 5+ years relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Background:
• Entertainment industry experience in distribution and/or business affairs
• Comprehensive knowledge of motion picture and/or television distribution business environment
• Previous work experience in a financial services or trust or royalties and residuals administration
• Prior experience in Customer Service
• Minimum of 5 years of experience or knowledge in residuals processing
