We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Disability Services Assistant to assist team members with arena events and ensuring events are accessible for guests of all abilities. This is a highly collaborative role that will work with multiple internal and external groups on a daily basis.

What You Will Do:
• Assist with the development of recommendations in connection with policies, procedures, construction, or modifications to the facilities to ensure compliance with ADA Standards and ensure inclusive design
• Ensure accessibility services are provided at all Player 15 Group events, including NBA and WNBA games and concerts, through pre-event planning and on-site support
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with organizations representing people with disabilities
• Provide prompt resolutions to guest inquiries via email, phone or during event.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Other duties as assigned

What We Need from Our Assistant:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the ADA and other related federal, state and local laws
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and management skills

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree or related experience preferred
• Experience in a guest-services environment or large-scale event planning is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in American Sign Language is preferred but not required

• Ability to transit throughout the arena for long periods of time.
• This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%
• S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
• Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
