We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as Head of Building Operations with the Facility Operations Department. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of building tenants for each building/site location. This position is responsible for the oversight and provision of services delivered by the facility infrastructure and systems including the operation and maintenance of the same, as well as emergency planning and management as it relates to securing the facility, major equipment and systems. It works with minimum supervision and direction to comprehensively manage facility operations and performs all responsibilities at the highest level to enhance the image of all buildings. Specifically the Head of Building Operations will be responsibility for the oversight of several departments including, facility operations, security, safety, engineering, maintenance, vendor management, event set ups, and housekeeping. This position will collaborate closely with vendors, partners, and internal team members to ensure smooth daily building operations. This individual should have proven experience in successful leadership positions, including responsibility for facility management, budget development and administration, event set-ups, strategic planning, and staff supervision. This senior leader will be responsible for cultivating a safe and respectful working environment for diverse groups of people.
What Will You Do:
• Project Management: Leading planning and execution for complex projects in partnership with Senior Leadership
• Oversee and Leads processed to drive accountability to key systems/processes such as building maintenance, building technology, repairs, custodial services and waste management.
• Responsible for oversight of campus compliance to all key OSHA and Safety protocols that maintains a safe environment for all occupants and visitors for practice facilities and headquarters buildings
• Responsible and accountable for all building budget planning and compliance
• Negotiating and liaising with third-party service
• Lead processes and accountability systems for regular building inspections and preparing reports.
• Document Management: Ensuring facilities are following applicable policies, regulations, and building
• Serve as escalation in responding to inquiries and requests by staff and resolving any problems or
• Partner with IT and AV departments to address technology needs and
• Serve as liaison to key third party groups such as city representatives, leagues, or/and key vendors.

• Experience in a professional sports organization is a
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• This position will have oversight of security, facility management and building/campus operations. As a leader of leaders this person will be responsible for building, growing and developing teams
• Ability to strategically delegate tasks to management level team
• Experience culture builder with clear visioning and communication
Experience/ Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate management, or a related field preferred
• GED or High School Diploma Required
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a building or site manager
• Experience manage multiple building and security related functions
• Served in a role leading senior level leaders at Director or above
