Neon Hum Media is an emerging, passionate West Coast podcast production company that creates cinematic, top quality, and wide-appeal audio programming. Over the past two years, Neon Hum has helped produce multiple chart-topping podcasts that reached tens of millions of listeners.

Neon Hum, a leading podcast production company, and Sony Music Entertainment, have formed a new creative partnership to expand their development of original podcast content with a slate of new shows across multiple genres. Based in Los Angeles, Neon Hum has helped create multiple podcast hits including the duPont Award-Winning ''Bag Man'' with Rachel Maddow, ''The Thing About Pam,'' ''Room 20,'' Crooked Media's ''This Land'' and L.A. Times Studios' ''Larger Than Life.''

Responsibilities

Perform the following duties related to the production of Neon Hum podcast properties, including:
• Log tape & help pull selects for episode mixes
• Assist show producer in research, booking, and prep as needed
• Assemble scratch & rough mixes of shows as needed
• Assemble additional assets as needed for archiving and social media
• Assist in publication of episodes as needed
• Help to promote and distribute show content as needed

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
• At least 1 year of editorial experience in a fast-paced, media environment. Podcast experience required.
• Candidates who are interested in creating editorial processes that are financially and creatively sustainable.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Must be able to edit audio. ProTools experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
• Must love, and listen to, podcasts!
