Do you want to help build a streaming service that carries the iconic MGM brand name? Are you interested in helping to shape the international media and entertainment landscape? MGM+ International is a movie and series streaming service that is wholly-owned and operated by Amazon. The service offers programming that is curated to align with the MGM brand. This means everything from MGM catalogue classics such as Bond, Rocky, and Legally Blonde, to current cinematic and sophisticated hits such as Outlander, The Great, Power, and much more. MGM+ Int'l is currently available in over 30 countries outside the US.
MGM+ Int'l is seeking a Marketing Manager who will create and manage marketing initiatives with MGM+'s key strategic partner network across our international footprint. This includes our distribution partners – Prime Video & others – as well as multiple other Amazon partnerships.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned partner marketer with previous hands-on experience of managing multi-channel marketing initiatives across strategic partners. They will be able to think creatively and critically while maintaining attention to detail across multiple simultaneous projects. They will be a very clear and concise communicator, both written and verbally. The position will be based in London but will work with teams all over the world.
Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate across a dynamic ecosystem of MGM+ and partner stakeholders to define, develop, and implement integrated multi-channel marketing strategies for campaign launches
• Manage multiple activations across simultaneous title launches including, but not limited to, Owned & Operated Merchandising, ATL initiatives, Programmatic, Paid/Owned Social, Earned Media/PR
• Manage Storefront Editorial and CRM strategies across multiple territories
• Create and manage evergreen partner programs with continuous testing and optimisation to create awareness, drive consideration, and generate subscription signups
• Work closely to monitor campaign performance & optimise campaigns
• Collaborate with partner teams, including data and analytics, to test hypotheses and learn what works to drive our business forward
• Create and manage campaign documents including briefs, presentations for internal and external partners, performance recaps, project trackers, etc.
• Help to define the overall MGM+ marketing strategy with the leadership team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience within a major media or technology company
- Experience building and optimising multiple, simultaneous partner marketing campaigns with a focus on digital
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving skills
- Excellent relationship-building and cross-functional communication skills; the ability to engage, motivate, and collaborate with internal and partner teams across every phase of a campaign
- Experience creating detailed written documents and reports making business recommendations
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep passion and knowledge of media and entertainment landscape, including strong understanding of streaming landscape and respective content offerings
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to work well both autonomously and within a team
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity and pivot when necessary
