Role Description
The Sustainability Compliance & Project Manager is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, measuring and monitoring of a comprehensive sustainability program in the UK market that ensures compliance with reporting requirements. You will be working with multiple stakeholders in the different business activities (festivals, venues, offices and touring), to achieve Live Nation's goals and vision set out in our Green Nation Sustainability Charter.
This role will drive the development process and annual data collection for Live Nation UK's reporting requirements (both internal and external). You will have experience in corporate and/or event sustainability reporting and be comfortable working with and validating quantitative and qualitative data. You will be working as an essential member of the team to plan, deliver, and evaluate strategic projects and programs that meet our sustainability goals.
You will also support touring teams deliver less environmentally impactful tours as we expand the Green Nation Touring Programme. This position will report to Live Nation's Head of Sustainability for UK & Ireland.

Who you are
The post requires the training and experience necessary to provide professional and technical advice, to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in compliance, sustainability performance, GHG emissions reduction and change management.
Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Demonstrable experience in a dedicated sustainability role with compliance responsibilities, preferably in a large organisation.
• A detailed applied and theoretical knowledge of environmental sustainability, industry standards, best practices and legislation– particularly as they relate to the UK.
• Proven experience in sustainability reporting including ESOS, SECR and Extended Producer Responsibility.
• A qualification in environmental management is highly desirable.
• Membership or working towards membership of a professional environmental association is essential
• Experience of working in events is highly desirable.
• Analytical approach to data and reporting to translate into insights and evaluation.
• Project management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, database management systems and analysis via various platforms and software.

What the role includes
• Oversee internal data collection outreach and ensure environmental data consistency across the UK market.
• Coordinate and work with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to finance, compliance, legal, regional and global sustainability teams to develop a robust Data Collection & Reporting program.
• Implement reliable and auditable processes and controls for environmental data collection, validation, and reporting. Integrating with existing systems and/or evaluate opportunities for improvements to streamline efforts.
• Develop, review, monitor and oversee the delivery of market and business level action plans for our festivals, venues and touring business areas covering the Green Nation charter areas.
• Measure success and cost-effectiveness of strategic projects to deliver Green Nation goals.
• Research sustainable solutions and provide expertise, advice and support on sustainability issues to other departments as required.
• Prepare reports on market sustainability progress, quarterly / annual reports as needed.
• Conduct meetings and report detailed project progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation in public events and the industry group's discussions related to sustainability as required.
