The Hearst Visual Group is looking for a Senior Staff Photographer/Videographer to join the team. This position will shoot for the print and digital versions of multiple brands and divisions within the Hearst Corporation, and report to the Chief Visual Content Director. The ideal candidate will have a wide range of photography skills including shooting people and still-life. Candidate must be an engaged and enthusiastic team player who is well versed and passionate about photography and video. This position will be required to be in the office/on-set up to 5 days per week.

What you'll do
• Shoot for multiple brands and divisions within the Hearst Corporation.
• Work closely and collaboratively with visual editors, art departments and brand editors.
• Deliver final shoots and videos on deadline.
• Implement all Hearst Studio workflows and protocols.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Hearst Studio, equipment, and grip.
• Upload and archive final images, which includes inputting accurate metadata.
• Work with Studio staff to help develope photography and video skills.
• Help with all Hearst Studio needs on days not shooting, which can include studio bookings.

Who you are
• 7+ years of experience providing photographic and video content for professional clients.
• Must have strong lighting skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One and video editing software.
• Proficiency with Canon cameras and Profoto lighting.
• Proficiency with Sony FXC Digital Cinema cameras and video lighting, including ARRI lighting kits.
• Experience shooting video and editing.
• Must exhibit professionalism, initiative, and resourcefulness.
• Must be proactive and detail oriented.
• Ability to work calmly in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must be adaptable and accommodating.
• Must be a creative thinker and a self-starter.

The base salary for this role is $85,000-100,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
