Job Description
Hearst's Paid Social team works strategically with Ad Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Edit teams to launch, optimize, and ensure successful performance across all social campaigns.
As part of this team, the Paid Social Buyer will be responsible for media buying and traffic acquisition across paid social and content distribution tools such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail oriented, have a creative side, and get excited about learning new skills.
Resonsibilities:
What You'll Do
• Launch and maintain paid media campaigns on social platforms including setting up ads, selecting creative images, writing and editing ad copy, and managing campaign delivery and performance.
• Run and analyze campaign reporting to determine optimization opportunities for your portfolio of campaigns, looking at metrics such as click-through-rate, video-completion-rate, page views, and engagement rates.
• Collaborate, share results, and brainstorm with other team members to help shape campaign strategy and tactics.
• Work with internal pre and post-sales teams to strategize on programs as the paid social expert, develop appropriate KPIs and goals, and provide feedback on targeting and capabilities.
Qualifications:
Who You Are
• Have a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Possess a solid understanding of both established and emerging social platforms
• Comfortable in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Experience with paid social buying tools is a plus
The base salary for this role is $56,000 - $67,000. The base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands The base pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Based in New York, NY hybrid in-office schedule.
