Director of Product, Lifestyle Brands We are seeking a Director of Product, Lifestyle Brands to provide product expertise and vision across our content experience, reporting to the head of Product and Technology team at Hearst Magazines. The person in this role will be accountable for Product Management and Strategy, defining and communicating a product roadmap aligned with company objectives, and supported by business cases, market research, customer data and competitive analysis. Hearst Magazines has a global audience

of 400 million unique digital visitors, with 21 brands in the U.S, including Men's Health, Delish, Runner's World, ELLE, and Cosmopolitan, and close to 200 websites around the world. As a Director of Product, Lifestyle Brands you must enjoy spending time with stakeholders and evangelizing their needs. You balance strategic thinking with outstanding execution – holding yourself and your team accountable to delivering successful outcomes. You quickly build credibility and partner effectively with stakeholders, holding yourself and your team accountable to driving outcomes. This position is based in New York City at Hearst Tower, the world headquarters of Hearst Communications, Inc. 

 Resonsibilities:

• Shepherd product roadmap through execution, validation and adoption.
• Manage a solid team of product managers, providing mentorship and defining clear individual goals that align with revenue and consumer objectives.
• Act as day-to-day contact for vendor relationships to ensure all data driven product needs are anticipated and supported.
• Continually monitor performance of products and adjust our approach to development based on that feedback.
• Track and report on product delivery and performance.
• Prioritize product pipeline effectively based on company strategies, resources, and time.
• Lead communication between developers, designers, and business stakeholders to resolve conflicts, address dependencies, and remove impediments to delivery.


Qualifications:



Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management and technology management in the area of consumer facing Web sites for media & entertainment.
• Experienced in and understand the complexity of working in a mature, geographically spread organization.
• Have a track record of building relationships with stakeholders, partners, clients and also individual

team members.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Proven track record of full responsibility through the product life cycle in a fastpaced, Agile environment. Has shipped highly successful products.
• Extensive cross-functional and senior stakeholder exposure and management

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa. This is HYBRID in NYC 3 days/week.

The base salary for this role is between $168k – 204K annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
