Executive, Content Curation & Management (12 Month FTC)

Job Descriptions

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management of media rights, content and on-air scheduling for HBO in New Zealand.

You will collaborate and work closely with various stakeholders such as Marketing & Digital, Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales, CS and Operations to synergize the network's goals and objectives.

Liaise with cross function on content selections and programme line-up, monitor and react promptly to any programming and on-air changes. Passion for General Entertainment content would be desirable. You must be a team player, self-motivated and meticulous.

Core Responsibilities
• Work in close partnership across functions and teams to manage media rights and content inventory in the systems. Maintain content data quality, and ensuring data is up to date and organized.
• Work in close partnership across functions and teams to develop timely content schedules and EPG that drive engagement and reach target audience.
• Create urgent schedule changes and amendments, including day and date telecasts.
• Manage on-demand request
• Manage and maintain on-air inventory database
• Collaborate with Creative Service to come up with creative and winning on-air promo campaign, including promo makelist to increase ratings & viewership.
• View and approve all on-air materials prior to scheduling and regularly monitor channel presentation. Safeguard against clashes of relevant promotional messages or any on-air errors.

Schedule and deliver the best possible on-air campaigns and accurate final schedule to playout on a daily basis.
• Liaise with the Creative Services and Traffic & Operations teams throughout log production process
• Collaborate with Content Curation, Marketing, Adsales to align campaign/promotional strategies and goals across the organization.
• Addressing content and promo inquiries from various stakeholders, including Affiliate Sales, Marketing, Creative Services, Content Operations, and Ad Sales.
• Coordinate across functions and teams to ensure timely delivery of both content and promo assets.
• Monitor competitors' channels to keep up-to-date on the media landscape and changes. Monitor output and flag any inconsistencies to supervisor/ manager.
• Cooperate with Business Support for system upgrade and testing
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be flexible in multi-tasking tasks
• Strong communication skills
• A diligent team player with a strong eye for detail
• Experience using programme scheduling system would be ideal
• Programming planning and scheduling experience
• Agile / High adaptability
• Efficient in handling tasks independently and managing stresses
• Positive 'can do' attitude
