The Netflix Coordinator, Content Risk Management is a key part of our Content Risk Management team in APAC; they are an integral focal point for the team, instinctively connecting dots to the big picture view and keeping everyone informed and highly aligned. The role will range from working alongside our team members to directly support stakeholders throughout the region in both our production and event slates, to defining how we upskill the industry in risk management processes and building an understanding of local nuances in risk management across APAC. We have lots of moving parts both within the region and across the world, and this role is critical for our continued success.
To be successful, you will need to have a real interest in risk management for productions and events, as well as the ability to see the big picture and connect the dots. You will need to have a collaborative way of working and be concise and clear in your communications, especially with cross-cultural stakeholders, and when providing context about why certain work is prioritized or building an understanding of local context for our global Production and Event makers.
Reporting into the Senior Manager - Content Risk Management APAC, this role is important to the ongoing success of our regional Content Risk Management team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supports the APAC Content Risk Management team in the management and development of risk management processes across our production and event slates.
• Supports the coordination of Netflix production and event security and safety activities working closely with our Production and Event Risk Managers.
• Works closely with other Physical Production and Event cross-functional Coordinators to align on any project or activity, in an effort to minimise duplication and enable the greatest impact from our work.
• Engages with other regional Content Risk Management team coordinators to support the global development and alignment of risk management at Netflix.
• Supports the development and implementation of meaningful regional updates and reporting for Content Risk Management APAC.
• Supports clarifying interdependencies and impacts of Content Risk Management team activity across APAC and other regions (EMEA, LATAM and UCAN) to maintain alignment as appropriate and maximise impact.
• Builds understanding of the internal systems and tools that can support Content Risk Management within APAC and supports the team in engaging with these and updating data and reviewing data.
• Proactively identifies other critical opportunities to support the department and company.
• Works independently with minimal management supervision.
• Creates a positive atmosphere of professionalism and support.
• Supports Senior Manager, Content Risk Management APAC with team administration as required
Qualifications:
• Team player with an ability to supervise several projects in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and respond accordingly
• Great communicator who can build strong working relationships with internal and external partners and vendors.
• Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent manners
• Ability to be discreet and handle confidential information
• Proficiency in a APAC regional language other than English a plus
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Gdrive, MS Word, Excel, AirTable
• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production safety issues and emerging trends
• Preferably 5+ years experience in a risk management environment or production space
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to take educated risks and think outside of the box
