About the Position

The Golden State Warriors and Chase Center are looking for a Payroll Coordinator to help ensure that our front office and event staff get paid in a timely and accurate manner. In this role, you will partner with the Payroll Analyst to process full-time and part-time payroll, as well as oversee the payroll support inbox. This position reports to the Director, Payroll.

This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, CA

Willingness and ability to provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination will be required. All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that payroll-related transactions are processed in compliance with company policy utilizing UKG Pro and UKG Dimensions
• Research discrepancies of payroll information/documentation for the purpose of ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures prior to processing
• Update payroll records by entering any changes to employee earnings, deductions, or benefits
• Work with mangers regarding inquiries, issues, and procedures affecting payroll
• Answer questions and resolve payroll issues to assist employees in understanding payments, procedures, and/or problems
• Update time and attendance information into UKG Dimensions and prepare data to ensure proper payroll amounts
• Support Finance and Payroll teams with year-end payroll processing and reporting (W-2) and provide copies of pay stubs and W2s as needed for employees
• Build and maintain positive relationships with various members of the organization and work closely with Finance and Peopel Operations on payroll questions
• Assist on various ad hoc projects, including employee communications, employee training and assistance with payroll and timecards
• Partner with People Operations on game days and events answering staff questions related to payroll
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 1 year of accounting or payroll experience
• Experience with UKG Pro and UKG Dimensions preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (i.e., pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas)
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be willing to support the organization in all aspects including gameday, community events, and other departments to produce the most fulfilling experiences known to fans and future fans
