Who We Are:
Frieze is the world's leading platform for modern and contemporary art, dedicated to artists, galleries, collectors and art lovers alike. Frieze comprises three magazines – frieze, Frieze Masters Magazine and Frieze Week – and five international art fairs – Frieze London, Frieze Masters, Frieze New York, Frieze Los Angeles and Frieze Seoul. In October 2021, Frieze also launched No.9 Cork Street, a permanent space for visiting international galleries in the heart of Mayfair, London. Frieze is part of the IMG network.
As the key support to the Fair Directors and Manager with administrative and project coordination, the Fair & Programme Coordinator, Frieze London & Frieze Masters will be involved with a variety of projects across Frieze London and Frieze Masters and day to day support to the Fair Directors and Manager.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Project planning and delivery:
• To support the Fair Manager with the delivery of a busy programme of events and activities for Frieze London and Frieze Masters, which includes (but is not limited to): Frieze Masters Talks, Frieze Artist Award and Frieze Sculpture.
• To support with the general project coordination and delivery of all Frieze London & Frieze Masters programming.
• To liaise with all participants in the Frieze London and Frieze Masters programming, which include, but is not limited to, speakers, curators, artists, and partner organisations.
• To work closely with the Content, Press and Marketing department to edit copy and programming webpages and related materials for Frieze London and Frieze Masters programming.
• To organize travel and accommodation and facilitate the development of Frieze London/ Frieze Masters programming through working with a variety of partners.
• To produce event briefs & oversee practical set up of events.
• To work with internal and external stakeholders on the planning and delivery of Frieze Sculpture
• To check progress of projects, keeping track of timelines and action chasing.
• To Keep track of fair related clash charts
• To Compile and report budget updates
• To feedback daily to the Fair Manager with key updates
• To feedback to the Fair Directors as requested
• Ad-hoc research and administrative tasks
PA/Admin support:
• Arranging meetings internally and externally
• Agenda setting, minute taking, action tracking and chasing
• Filing and keeping track of Fair/Exec Directors expenses
• Filing fair related invoices
• Arranging fair directors travels / diary when required
Please Note e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc
• Occasional travel and weekend work may be required
• Extended/unsociable hours will be required when meeting project deadlines and when on site
Knowledge and Experience
• A collaborative and accomplished self-starter with a high level of determination, drive and the ability to work at pace.
• Proven experience in managing and hands-on delivery of events and arts programming
• Creative and able to work under own initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with external partners including artists, curators, speakers, and galleries.
• Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to plan, coordinate and deliver projects.
Skills and Abilities

• Experience planning and delivering creative programming is desirable
• Experience using Macs is desirable
• Experience using Microsoft software is desirable
