Role Overview:

As the Senior Financial Systems Analyst on the Financial Systems & Analytics (FS&A) team, you will work with the Finance and IT Teams as a trusted advisor with the design, build, and maintenance of our planning, reporting, and analytics systems. You use analytical insights to inform strategic decisions and foster a culture of data-driven innovation. You will advance our planning and analytics capabilities and translating complex data into actionable business strategies. You will report to the Senior Manager - FS&A

Responsibilities:

Shape financial tools and processes:
• Understand and solve complex business problems using analytics, leveraging industry knowledge and EA's internal data processes.
• Collaborate across business units and with IT teams, combining business needs and system knowledge to brainstorm solutions.

Build a culture of data-driven decisions:
• Advocate for data quality and consistency, working with business and IT teams to standardise data and build a data culture within Finance teams.
• Identify data gaps and inconsistencies, collaborating with partners to ensure scalable and comprehensive solutions for data-driven decisions.

Innovation and enhancements:
• Contribute to the design, development and testing of planning systems, driving the future for EA's Connected Planning.
• Collaborate on Proof of Concept activities to develop future tools for Finance teams.

Support and build the skills of our user community:
• Create process documentation and training materials to align processes and promote best practices.
• Moderate of support channel for daily support issues within EA's Connected Planning COE.

System stewardship and governance:
• Lead issue resolution and major project deliverables from ideation to implementation.
• Support processes for EA's quarterly financial forecasts, ensuring compliance with policies and controls.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with a preference for Data Science, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting
• 5+ years' experience in finance, accounting or business analytics
• Experience with Business Intelligence and visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau, SQL.
• Expertise in Excel (can perform complex functions)
• Experience with Oracle and Anaplan
• Data modelling and analytics
• Experience with the following: Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Python or R
• Project management skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento): $82,500 - $122,900 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo): $76,000 - $122,900 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ : $99,000 - $122,900 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs): $91,600 - $122,200 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane): $76,000 - $109,200 USD Annually
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria): $73,200 - $101,700 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
