Job Description
We're searching for a Playtest Product Owner, to be based in our Ripple Effect Studio in Los Angeles, focused on facilitating the daily playtesting function for the Battlefield franchise. You will report to the Director of Experiential Quality.

Be part of a dynamic team driving an important strategic pillar for EA. You will support a diverse team focused on ensuring the quality of Battlefield meets player's expectations. Our team will be integrated partners in the Battlefield product development organization, ensuring we meet the highest standards of Quality across every Battlefield experience.

The Playtest Product Owner is part of a cross-functional team focused on improving Battlefield Experiential Quality through actionable and impactful qualitative feedback processes.

This position is based in our Ripple Effect office located in Los Angeles.
• Responsibilities
• You will manage organization and execution of daily Battlefield playtests in North America.
• You will collaborate with studio and product leads to prioritize focus areas for playtesting, and fulfill requests for targeted playtest support when needed.
• Work with other Battlefield Playtest leaders to ensure initiatives and best practices are shared across all studios and incorporated into local playtest efforts.
• You will partner with other QVS team members to forecast, plan and track playtesting coverage and activities.
• You will collaborate with technical leads to ensure their needs for playtesting are met.
• Collaborate across several teams to ensure playtesting goals are met and align with audience and franchise needs.
• You will partner with Quality Design, Analytics, and Design to deliver the needed data from playtesting.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying playtest-related bottlenecks, inefficiencies and implementation of identified improvements.
• Qualifications
• 5+ years of program management, project management or game development experience.
• Experience in game production or playtesting.
• Experience with software delivery systems and server infrastructure.
• Experience communicating with senior leadership daily.
• Experience navigating and coordinating across a variety of teams and organizations.
• Experience operating autonomously.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and other project management tools.
• You have a passion for video games, in particular the FPS genre.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $82,500 - $122,900 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
