People Partnerships Manager – India ( IC Role)

Our People Practice Partners are passionate about delivering simple and awesome people experiences while delivering programs and support in meaningful and efficient ways. You will connect with employees, support people managers, champion team effectiveness and engagement, planning and providing people programmes and being a cultural steward for EA.
You will join the People Partnerships team, working with the Studio based in Hyderabad, and reporting to the People Partnerships Director in India.
What the People Practices Manager does at EA:
• Administration & Collaboration: Builds and administers where appropriate, locally compliant people processes and procedures in partnership with EA global COE's. (People Operations, People Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Mobility, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Learning & Development, etc.) May represent EA to local authorities or government agencies regarding employment matters.
• Coaching: Partners closely with managers to provide candid, unbiased coaching and counsel to enhance manager effectiveness and improve individual and team capabilities to meet current and future business needs in the local market;;
• Talent Readiness: Delivers global talent initiatives including talent strategy, talent planning, performance management, in partnership with respective COE partners, HR business partners, and local leaders to attract, retain, and develop key talent. Ensure senior HR Leadership is aware of site needs and work in tandem to deploy needed strategies or resources.
• Insights & Analytics: Leverages HR technology, business intelligence and local market information, to provide data-driven insights that enable sound business outcomes. Educates management on workforce analysis, headcount planning and related HR metrics to assess and influence and/or drive business decisions;
• Business Acumen: Proactive in understanding client and market business models/cycles, priorities and cultural nuances as an input into operational strategy and execution; understands both the business internally and also the external landscape.
• Program Delivery: Locally delivers core PE programs within defined timelines and acts as point of escalation for local managers with questions.
• Change Management: Partners with site leadership and global COE partners to assess change readiness for People initiatives, provides localization input, and collaborates to arrive at solutions that drive adoption.
• Team player: be prepared to assist your colleagues in any way required! You must be organised, compassionate and prepared to make the team successful.
The next great People Practices Manager at EA also needs to have the following:
• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in a relevant field combined with demonstrated experience as an international HR business partner / generalist (12-15 Years).
• Analytical mindset with proven experience using data and data-driven insights to support the business.
• Demonstrated local knowledge of HR requirements, HR best practices, HR administration, employment laws and employment customs and the ability to translate that knowledge into scalable solutions.
• Strong change management skills - comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, able to methodically work through complex problems, set priorities and execute on commitments.
• Outstanding project leadership and delivery experience; overseeing region-wide, high impact talent programs across the business.
• Has a passion for creating healthy organizations, driving transformation and helping culture be a competitive advantage.
