Data and Analytics (DnA) is looking for a Development Director | with experience in Software Development working remotely. Reporting to the Development Director II, you will create the strategy and execution of multiple projects across one of our verticals supporting analytics projects for game titles. This is an incredible opportunity to lead projects focused on data analytics supporting games and work with a great team.
What a Development Director does at EA: A Development Director manages a variety of disciplines, including Data architects, product managers, software engineers, QA, Analysts, and other partners. DDs are the keepers of the project schedule. You will work with our partners to ensure that the project is feasible, valuable, and desirable.
Responsibilities
• Help us create the planning of multiple projects supporting our internal or external teams.
• Develop a roadmap by collaborating with our teams, and partners and bring it through to completion.
• Identify resourcing needs.
• Manage risks, understand the impact, and delineate urgency/severity.
• Provide regular status reporting on progress.
• Develop and maintain project key performance indicators that track project quality, delivery, and predictability.
• Manage resource allocation, forecasting for financial submission
• Motivate the team and promote collaboration
• Build processes and efficiencies
Qualifications
• You have experience managing large programs in a distributed team environment (5+ years).
• You have experience managing pods
• You have experience in Atlassian Suite (Jira, JAAS)
• You are a pro in Google Suite
• You love working with teams, you value diversity, equity, and Inclusion
• Enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and a hunger for learning new techniques

Ceci ne s'applique pas au Québec. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
• $115,100 - $161,200 CAD
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
