Billing Coordinator - Marketing General
Office of the CXO (oCXO)
Focused on EA Experiences effectiveness, the Office of the CXO (oCXO) drives organization-w ide business, workforce, and investment planning, ensures operational excellence, and provides the comprehensive fan intelligence and internal technology solutions required to maximize opportunities in service of our goals and our community.
CXO creates dedicated focus on shared goals, clarity on p rioritization, comprehensive resource and investment strategies, plus organization-w ide support of foundational requirements to empower teams and accelerate business outcomes.
The Business Operations function within oCXO drives transformative initiatives across XO by facilitating comprehensive business planning, optimizing people and culture programs, and ensuring operational efficiency. We partner with embedded resources, PE and Finance to scale the application of these bodies of work across the EA Experiences organization.
Media Billing Ops
The TEAM, which sits within Business Operations initiates purchase order requests, receives invoices and supports our marketing partners to help execute our expansive marketing plans. We ensure that our suppliers are paid in a timely manner which ensures a strong working relationship with them. Our team is hungry to add more marketing teams to our portfolio so we can standardize the purchase order workflow across the marketing organization. A list of specific responsibiliti es and qualifications for this role can be found below.
Responsibiliti es
• To support the Global Media Senior Billing Associate.
• Create Purchase Orders for functional spend and track and submit invoices against corresponding POs covering Direct media.
• Audit all incoming supplier invoices to ensure naming standard is in compliance with EA AP policy.
• Initiate and track new supplier set up applications.
• Work with Finance partners and team leads to ensure month end deadlines are met.
• Partner with Legal, Procurement, and Business teams to facilitate contract set up and negotiations for Media activations
• Foster and maintain relationships across the Billing team to develop understanding of existing ways of working and identify areas of opportunities to standardize or develop new processes.
• Attend and potentially lead meetings with vendors to run through invoicing.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as billing coordinator or similar position
• Minimum intermediate proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity in Oracle a plus but not required
• Comfortable with mathematics and financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working individually as well as with a team
• Great attention to detail, confidentialit y, and trustworthines s
• Service oriented attitude
• Critical thinker who can analyze situations and come up with creative solutions that are compliant with EA policy
• Excellent ability to independently organize and coordinate tasks based on deadlines
• Degree or diploma in Accounting or relevant field a plus but not required
