Job Description
The Disney Entertainment segment includes the company's full portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses globally, including streaming.

The Digital Marketing team oversees creative and programming of Disney Entertainment's Made-for-Kid (MFK) YouTube channels. The team is responsible for content development and production, channel strategy, program planning, publishing and channel operations. Additionally, this team works closely with Brand and Franchise, Studios, Consumer Products, Governance, Legal, and Finance. The team manages channel operations and is responsible for adhering to TWDC and YouTube MFK policies.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support The Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing team in executing MFK YouTube channel programming and strategies. Supporting the team with day-to-day channel operations responsibilities including content uploads and publishing, metadata management, Airtable usage, monetization settings. This role will collaborate with their optimization counterparts to manage live streams, playlists, and backend channel management as needed.

The Content Distribution Coordinator should be well-versed in the YouTube ecosystem, with a solid understanding of content uploading, playlisting, geo-targeting, policy setting and publication. Additionally, the Coordinator should have an eye on YouTube's latest content creator recommendations, new tools, and best practices updates to implement where advantageous to the MFK channels.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, results-driven, and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of a variety of social, digital, and emerging platforms. An affinity for kid's content programming is beneficial. The coordinator should be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot autonomously as needed.

Responsibilities:
• Publish content on Disney Entertainment's MFK YouTube channels as assigned by Digital COE leadership
• Manage content uploads and settings including monetization, geo-targeting, playlisting, etc.
• Collaborate with Optimization counterpart to update channel assets including banners, thumbnails, metadata, playlists, etc.
• Assist international Digital Marketing teams with channel upload needs and asset-sharing where applicable
• Track video and channel performance metrics to recommend adjustments in posting schedule, publishing dates/times to improve overall channel performance
• Monitor YouTube content creator, new product offerings, platform updates, and trends to remain on the front edge of latest levers to improve channel and content performance
• Liaise with sister-MFK YouTube channels within TWDC for best practices learnings and collaborative opportunities

Basic Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in social/digital marketing
• Solid technical understanding of YouTube channel operations and backend
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Docs, Box, Keynote/PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere
• Previous experience with CRM tools, i.e. Airtable, Zendesk
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, specifically YouTube
• Basic asset editing skills
• Impeccable eye for detail coupled with the ability to communicate clearly and implement strategies as directed
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, digital-forward environment
• Outstanding organization and communication skills
• Efficient with time with the ability to meet deadlines and self-direct time management
• Ability to multi-task and pivot quickly as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
• AA or BA in Digital Marketing, Marketing or business admin/relevant degree preferred

The hiring range for this position in California is $63,386 to $85,030 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
