Disney Streaming's Technology HR team is seeking an Associate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who will be an extraordinary addition to our team. As an Associate HR Business Partner, you will support the lead HR Business Partners to deliver HR programs and solutions in support of both short-term and long-term business goals for our Disney Streaming Technology teams. You will be a trusted partner, proactively anticipating business needs to be able to support our team, leaders, and the clients we support. Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the business and takes a consultative approach in anticipating, assessing, and providing creative HR solutions to business priorities
• Support integrated approaches to promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction, development, and retention
• Implement and administer HR policies and procedures and their dissemination through various employee communications
• Provide consultation to clients by partnering on moderately complex HR processes, procedures, precedents, and initiatives integrating appropriate centers of excellence (COE) partners, as necessary
• Provide day to day performance management guidance
• Assist with projects specific to employee engagement, including but not limited to working with HRBPs on off site prep, facilitation of focus groups, and brainstorming sessions
• Administer and evaluate onboarding and off-boarding processes end to end, including recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance the overall experience
• Organize and maintain key headcount trackers throughout each year
• Assists with key talent processes including performance calibrations, talent review, succession planning, leadership development and talent assessment.
• Run and utilize reports and talent dashboards that measure talent efforts and provide predictive analytics for future changes or decisions.
• Work closely with the HRBP team, managers, and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
• Participate in special projects
• Handle correspondence with clients including high level executives

Basic Qualifications:
• 3-5 years experience in Human Resources overall
• Minimum of 2+ years human resources generalist experience in progressively responsible roles
• Experience and exposure to a variety of HR facets including organization development, employee relations, talent acquisition, learning & development, and compensation
• Proven ability to effectively interact with all organizational levels in a multicultural environment and build strong, trusted relationships
• Excellent consulting and conflict management skills
• Strong use of judgment to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation
• Ability to effectively interact with all organizational levels in a multicultural environment and build trusted relationships
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend multiple solutions
• Strong organizational, motivational, communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
• Function in a matrixed, fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge and application of federal and state employment laws
• Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience directly supporting clients, especially engineering and technology functions
• Experience in SAP, Workday, Cognos
• Project management experience
• Proven consulting and/or change management experience
• SHRM certification or other HR industry equivalent

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or combination of equivalent work experience
