The SpinCo organization is looking for a VP, Human Resources, Operations & Technology to join their team! Reporting directly to the SVP, Corporate Human Resources, this role requires an experienced perspective based on business and organizational transformation, innovation, collaboration, agility, technical excellence, and the ability to successfully partner with and advise business leaders and functional HR leads. This position requires an individual who can act as a senior consultant to the business, build and execute a strong integrated HR strategy, as well as manage and develop the unique talent within the organizations. This individual will work hand in hand with HR specialty teams to implement collective HR work.

You coach business leaders on employee communication, development and performance management to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.
• Growth Advocate: You are a proven leader known to challenge the status quo, introduce new and better ways of delivering results, and make difficult decisions. You leverage workforce insights and deep understanding of the commercial side of business to develop organizational and people strategies that influence decision making and drive business goals.
• People Leader: Leading and developing a Human Resources team through providing goals, direction, coaching, feedback and ongoing communication to the team while driving key initiatives across departments, including staffing, performance and talent management, compensation planning, training and development, rewards & recognition, organizational effectiveness and employee communications.
• Change Agent: Develop and implement change leadership strategies to achieve desired business results that are sustainable over time including adoption of new technologies, integration of key new growth businesses and workflows, staffing models and organization structures that scale.
• Champion of Collaboration: weaves together the partnership with experts in security, corporate affairs, HR colleagues and others for seamless resolution of business-wide issues and sharing operational changes that impact the broader organization.
• Executer: You get things done! Using strong business acumen, inciteful analytical skills, and superior organizational skills you manage through competing priorities within a matrixed environment.
• Coach: You help bring the best potential out of the employees, managers, and partners you work with helping them to further their development and create a great place to work with one another.

Qualifications
What you'll need:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Labor Relations or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 10 years relevant HR experience including employee relations, organizational development, and/or labor relations
• Minimum 4 years' experience leading a human resources team
Desired Characteristics:
• Graduate degree in Human Resources, MBA or related field preferred
• Demonstrated Leadership competencies in talent selection, coaching, change management, project management and organization development
• Ability to develop an integrated talent strategy that contributes to the advancement of business operations
• Strong business acumen, facilitation, conflict resolution and communication skills
• Previous experience with a technical and represented workforce; HR experience working with a mixed workforce of represented and non-represented employees
• Proven influencer; demonstrated ability to coach and counsel both employees and executive-level management
• Prior media/television industry experience preferred
• Able to deal effectively with conflict and manage difficult employee relations situations
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a deadline-oriented environment
Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be willing to work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ a minimum of 3 days/week
• Must be willing to work overtime when required
• Must be willing to travel for work related business if necessary
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
