Job Description
The Human Resources Coordinator will support both Human Resources and business operations functions. The position will be responsible for specific non-game day, game day, special event, and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Onboarding support (daytime and evenings) for event colleagues to ensure new hire tasks completion and I9 compliance.
• In collaboration with Detroit based HR and Lakeland leadership, develop a Lakeland-specific new hire orientation for new colleagues.
• Troubleshoot Workday issues.
• Act in a liaison role between colleagues and human resource services.
• Administer/support HR department projects and programs as directed and maintain documentation of events.
• Follow up on outstanding I-9's to ensure compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR related matters and information.
• Assist with event staff scheduling.
• Provide support before, during and after games and events as needed.
• Complete season specific projects as assigned by supervisor and department heads.
• Key Operations Responsibilities:
• Front desk reception
• Provide game day assistance to Director of Operations
• Workday Report generation
• Ordering office and venue supplies
• Perform administrative duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education & experience also considered.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented, well organized, and self-motivated.
• Proven attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and evidence of ability to present data effectively and professionally.
• Evidence of highly developed organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and manage several concurrent, complex projects or activities.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, database, Internet, etc.)

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Previous experience in one or more areas of Human Resources (i.e. recruiting, wellness initiatives, payroll, benefits, and legal compliance, etc.) preferred.
• Previous office experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of local, state and federal labor laws (i.e. EEO, FMLA, ADA, HIPPA, etc.) preferred.

Working Conditions:
• Office & Outdoor Stadium Environment.
• Irregular and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
