Summary

The VP, Finance will lead the worldwide accounting and financial efforts for the Localization, Platform and Home Entertainment lines of business for Deluxe Media Inc.. This position will report to the EVP of Finance and oversee the finance teams. This position is responsible for: financial reporting including appropriate business metrics which relate to financial performance, financial budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis including cost accounting, month end and forecast/budget reporting, process analysis support and management and ad hoc analysis and duties as assigned (e.g., transitioning finance function of acquired companies). The position will partner with relevant stakeholders to provide the very best accounting and financial analysis support and leadership. In addition, this position will assist the EVP Finance in identifying and developing business unit, cross business unit, and cross corporate / business unit financial process improvement strategies.

Job Responsibilities
• Ability to motivate teams and team members to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Provide accurate and timely reporting on a monthly basis across all global divisions.
• Provide accurate and timely compilation of budgets, forecasts, capital expenses, variance analysis, and other ad hoc analysis as needed.
• Provide local staff with accurate and timely information and support such as business unit variance reporting, analysis of actual versus budget performance, generation of accounting reports at the business unit (BU) and departmental level.
• Interface with corporate accounting staff and provide accurate and timely reporting as required.
• Assist in the development of financial models, new business and product initiatives, and capital expenditures.
• Developing long-term forecasting models and other tools to aid in planning.
• Develop and implement benchmarks for measuring the financial and operational performance of the operation and billing teams.
• Manage a large volume and broad range of projects.
• Hands-on problems solver, performing work such as formatting/developing spreadsheets and running analyses.
• Work with the EVP of Finance to design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to efficiently accomplish the division goals and objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field.
• Master's degree, MBA, or CPA a plus.
• Minimum 7-10 years' experience managing a mid-sized team.
• Able to establish professional relationships and work collaboratively with a broad range of talent.
• Ability to coordinate with staff in remote locations and develop collaborative relationships with senior management.
• Significant operations-oriented financial planning and analysis experience, ideally with mixed business models.
• Ability to synthesize information effectively and present it to top divisional and corporate management in high quality, readily accessible formats.
• Proactive approach to organization, including a proven ability to stay one step ahead of what is coming down the pipeline.
• Team orientation and willingness to pitch in and help when others need it.
• Experience with entertainment/media companies, service-related businesses, and/or businesses selling high-tech solutions.
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Expert level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with SAP Accounting module, SAP Business Planning & Consolidation and Business Objects.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
