Job Description
The Studio and Disney+ Global Marketing Finance team provides financial, strategic planning, and analytical support to the Studio Content and Disney+ Marketing teams. Our team works with marketing business leaders to manage marketing investment decisions and to maximize the long-term financial results of the theatrical exhibition and direct-to-consumer businesses.
Reporting to the Manager, this position will partner with other finance team members to support a brand-focused organization and own financial planning responsibility for Disney+ and films, episodic series and other content from our Studio production groups: Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Disney Live Action, and 20th Century Studios.
The responsibilities for this role may change and candidates must be flexible as the organization evolves.
Responsibilities
• Manage the domestic theatrical marketing FP&A process for Annual Operating Plan, Five Year Plan and monthly forecasts, ensuring accurate forecasting of marketing spend and providing variance to forecast analysis
• Oversee budgets for domestic marketing spend, working closely with Research, Canada, and other marketing departments to ensure campaigns are properly funded and on budget
• Partner closely with the accounting team during quarterly close, assisting with variance analysis and journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Interface with varying levels of marketing management, Studio FP&A, Controllership, and other Disney segments
• Maintain and improve department financial reporting tools and processes
• Create ad-hoc financial models, analyses, reports and related presentation materials
• Assist team with other department responsibilities and ad hoc projects
Basic Qualifications
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
• Demonstrate professional excellence, integrity and dependability

• Ability to multi-task, work well with others in a fast paced environment and keep supervisor promptly informed
• Systems agnostic, able to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools
• Strong knowledge of advanced Excel (including macros), PowerPoint, SAP and Cognos TM1
Education/Experience
• BA/BS required; CPA or MBA preferred
• Previous studio entertainment experience a plus
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $103,400 to $126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
