GFX Artist - Graphics & Video Editor for Marketing
The Role
The successful candidate will be part of the marketing production team producing graphic design and video assets for delivery across multiple platforms.
Everyday tasks involve designing posters and videos, handling client feedback, suggesting improvements, managing all artwork and video assets for localization, and delivering on time. We are seeking a candidate with experience in effectively handling localization for graphics and video assets to ensure seamless adaptation across various regions and markets.
A perfect mix of creative skills, technical knowledge of media standards and specifications, and a global cultural understanding is required.
Job Description
Graphic Design in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.,)
• Developing concepts, graphics and layouts determining size and arrangement of the copy and illustrative material, choosing font style and size.
• Adapting graphic designs from one language to another, without losing the concept and theme of the design during the transformation.
• Designing and adapting Title Artwork according to the brief or reference provided by the client.
Motion Graphics in Adobe CC (After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.,)
• Developing and adapting 2D/3D motion graphics and title effects.
• Creating multiple aspect ratio versions of marketing video materials, and modifying the graphic elements as needed.
Video Editing in Adobe CC (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, etc.,)
• Video editing mainly short form promos, featurettes, interviews, and other marketing materials for fictional and reality shows.
• Producing multiple language versions and multiple aspect ratio deliverables from source video masters.
• XML/AAF conforming, clocking, adding subtitles and amending legal copies.
• Basic sound editing and sound level monitoring using industry standard metering methods to ensure compliance.
General
• Sharing the information on errors, missing assets, brief mistakes, etc., as constructive feedback.
• Following brand guidelines and client specific information to use the logos, fonts, and colors appropriately on the projects.
• Following the rules of clearance agencies and certification boards to ensure every project is built in the appropriate specifications as per the destination territory/country.
• Ensuring every project is built in the appropriate delivery specifications as per the broadcast, theatrical and streaming platforms. As well as following the right cultural standards and legal compliances per the destination territory/country.
• Manage consolidation and archiving of the projects after completion.
• Following best practices for versioning control, naming convention, and organization of multiple unique assets.
Requirements
• Advanced level skills in Design, Compositing, Editing and Mastering using Adobe CC software packages. Cinema 4D skills are a plus.
• Good experience in using familiar plugins from Boris, Maxon, Video Copilot, etc.,
• Experience working on projects briefed by international account managers or producers from a different geographical location.
• Good technical knowledge of industry standards and specifications covering formats, codecs, aspect ratios, fps, title safety, statutory warnings, etc.,
• Experience in working for projects delivering to Broadcasting stations and OTT platforms for international agencies, clients, and post houses.
• Experience using audio meters, video analyzers and other plugins involved in evaluating quality of video and audio.
• Very good understanding on Windows and Mac OS and the standard desktop applications.
• Very good experience in handling MS Office applications and Video Conferencing applications.
• Professional English language, excellent interpersonal skills, and a Can-Do attitude.
