Job Title: Digital Asset Manager in Cineverse Services

Job Summary/Objective

The Content Operations Manager will manage a team of Content Operations Specialists and oversee the content ingestion process for digital film and television titles and can work cross-functionally across internal teams and with key vendors/licensors.

Essential Functions
• Manage Content Operations Specialist team. Including delegation of operations tasks including metadata ingestion and maintenance, cuepoint creation, delivery job creation, and any other operations tasks as needed.
• Coordinate intake of film and television deliverables for digital releases. Work as liaison between QC and licensors regarding necessary deliverables. Utilize Monday.com, Rightsline, Matchpoint (internal proprietary software), AWS S3, IBM Aspera and other management tools to track all incoming and outgoing materials including, but not limited to, metadata, feature, trailer, artwork, ad breaks, captions, and subtitles.
• Lead kick-off calls for new licensors to communicate standard processes, timeline, and review specs for potential delivery exceptions. Provide excellent customer service with quick response time and diligent support.
• Manage media creation including closed captions, subtitles, dubs via our proprietary delivery software and/or external vendors.
• Attend weekly operations meetings and provide updates on status of scheduled titles and their materials.

Essential Qualifications/Competencies
• 3+ years working in entertainment in a distribution, digital asset management (DAM), or technical services role with technical understanding of digital video (codecs, file types, encoding process), artwork file types, caption formats, and XML metadata specifications.
• 3+ years working as a manager of an Operations team.
• Experience with metadata development and input, organizing large amounts of files, and naming conventions. Knowledge of Excel Vlookup a plus.
• Strong English written and verbal skills with ability to write thorough yet concise emails to internal and external customers. Experience working with United States companies or other English first speaking countries preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, troubleshoot, and follow up consistently with excellent attention to detail.
• Effectively communicates with clients and provides excellent customer service.
• Competent with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, AWS S3, IBM Aspera and comfortable learning new software with training. Knowledge of com and Rightsline is a bonus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
