Job Summary/Objective
The Senior Royalty Analyst will manage the relationship with licensors, working with the royalty team to provide licensors statements and payments timely and accurately. This position will be responsible for preparing files to be used during monthly close process, and reviewing and verifying all OTT sales data quarterly for inclusion on statements.
Essential Functions
• Process monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual Licensor statements for multiple departments
• Review contract terms to ensure that royalties are calculated according to the agreement.
• Generate payment requests for approved licensor statements and distribute to licensor via email or upload to portal.
• Prepare data files for month end close process, to ensure that distributed licensors fees are applied correctly.
• Obtain payee information such as W-9, BEN-8, direct deposit information, new or updated address for licensor. Update payment database with new payee information when applicable.
• Respond to licensor inquiries regarding statements or payments.
• Request Licensor expense back-up from AP.
Essential Qualifications/Competencies
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
• Excellent written, verbal communication skills in English.
• US based experience will be preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to problem solve, communicate and work well with others, both within and outside of the department
• Advanced Knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, VLookups and various formulas)
• Highly organized and able to prioritize
• Ability to work under pressure & Deadline oriented.
• 3-5yrs experience preferred
• Work hours – Should be flexible to work in US hours as needed
