Job Title: Technical Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to guide a team of developers in building robust, scalable, and efficient applications. As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions, and driving technical innovation within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software developers. Guide the team in best practices, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Design, develop, and implement software solutions. Make architectural decisions that ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of applications.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the development process.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality products. Ensure alignment of technical direction with business goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise. Provide guidance and solutions to complex technical problems.
• Develop and implement the technical strategy for the team. Ensure alignment with the company's overall strategic goals. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define and maintain the technical roadmap. Ensure that technical initiatives align with business objectives and prioritize work to achieve strategic goals.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development, with a focus on specific technologies like Java, .NET, Python, etc.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, leading a team of developers.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with frameworks and cloud services.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
