Overview:

The Chicago White Sox are seeking a Coordinator of Guest Services & Training to join our full-time Guest Services team. This role will focus on assisting in the training and scheduling of our day of game staff and responding to the needs of our guests. The ideal candidate will have event- related guest services experience and prior involvement leading training sessions. We are looking for a high-energy, enthusiastic, and committed individual with a desire to collaborate directly with our employees and guests!

Job Responsibilities:
• Fan Services at White Sox home games.
• Assist with scheduling of all seasonal game day staff.
• Assist with the tracking of all fan related in-game issues.
• Provide information on any ballpark service, area, or staff member to our fans (in response to personal, email or telephone inquires)
• Maintain an accurate record keeping plan to ensure training requirements and renewal certifications are met for applicable departments and/or employees.
• Coordinate the scheduling of training sessions and ID program for all day of game staff.
• Assist with our training platform, from conception to execution.
• Manage seasonal staff programs including website, newsletter, and incentive/reward programs.
• Assist with any departmental administrative tasks as needed.
• Conduct specialty tours of the facility.
• Provide administrative assistance for the telecommunication system.

Requirements:
• College Degree in Communications, Recreational Studies, or a related field
• Must be motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Highly developed communication skills are necessary, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office required.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays (home baseball schedule)
• 2 years direct customer service experience; preferably in an event and/or sport facility
• Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable presenting to and instructing large groups.
• Ability to speak, read and write Spanish a plus.
• Prior experience with Skyprep Online Training software preferred
• Knowledge of White Sox baseball a plus

Compensation:
• $45,000 - $50,000
