Job Description

Job Description: The Chicago White Sox are seeking an International Scouting & Latin American Operations Coordinator to support the International Scouting department in a variety of ways, both administratively and logistically. In this hybrid role, you will function as the main point person between our international scouting leadership, area scouts, video scouts, front office, performance, medical, and research & development departments.

Responsibilities:
• Manage area/video scout schedules and coordinate travel for players and staff.
• Maintain compliance with MLB protocols, rules, and regulations. Including the management of AMT system, procedural requirements, travel requests, and required reimbursements.
• Attend scouting events and assist with player evaluations.
• Track International Scouting bonus pools both internally and externally.
• Execute data collection, cleaning, and storage processes in conjunction with the analytics department.
• Maintain and update player profiles in internal database.
• Collaborate with performance and medical department for player data collection and pre-signing evaluations.
• Optimize the Immigration process for securing visas and other necessary travel documents efficiently.
• Aid in Concur expense reimbursement process by reviewing, verifying, and processing expense reports for scouts and personnel.
• Play an integral role in creating presentations on players for front office/senior leadership.
• Support the player signing and contract submission process, including:
- Collection and submission of Age/Identity investigation requests.
- Collection and submission of Drug Test requests.
- Manage logistics for player physicals by communicating with the medical team, scouting leadership, and agents/trainers.
- Complete player contract execution and submission to MLB.
- Facilitate bonus payment process.
• Work with international scouting leadership to:
- Manage player evaluation processes.
- Collect and organize data, information, and video.
- Create and review class prep lists.
- Establish efficient workflow patterns and streamline communication of information.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Fluent proficiency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong computer and technological skills required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Prior experience working for a professional or college baseball organization required.
• Prior experience with baseball technology including Trackman, Blast Motion, etc. preferred.
• Prior exposure to sports medical, performance, biomechanics preferred.
