The Role

CAA is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Executive to join its HR team. The HRBP is both a strategic and execution role responsible for working with the business groups its supports to understand current and future priorities and then building and executing tools and processes to ensure that the business has the necessary skills, structures and processes to achieve these priorities. In this capacity, the HRBP will need deep expertise in multiple of the following areas: coaching leaders, talent management/succession planning, inclusion and diversity, career development tools, employee relations, process design work, etc. Position will have a shared HR Assistant.

In addition, the HRBP will be responsible for all day-to-day human resources needs (i.e. employee relations, manager coaching, implementing new policies, employee onboarding, etc.).

Responsibilities
• Provides HR guidance on all areas of people guidance and development – with a particular focus on early career employees.
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with Department Head to develop talent solutions and programs to help clients design effective, bespoke talent strategies aligned to talent strategy
• Recommends organizational development solutions and partners with L&D to design and facilitate learning solutions
• Presents organization health dashboards to group leader and tracks progress to ensure talent strategy effectiveness
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance and effectively partners with the legal department as required
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management and partners with internal HR team and Sr. HRBP as needed to support business need
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation as needed
• Provides guidance and input on workforce and succession planning in partnership with Regional HR Leader
• Support and maintain the employee engagement programs and initiatives that support CAA's organizational goals and culture
• Develop and communicate positive employee relations strategies and retention initiatives that foster and promote a culture of excellence.
• Responsible for ensuring content consistency of messages and alignment to overall company and HR strategy
• Research and work with management and other departments to build employee engagement initiatives
• Serve as project point person on specific HRBP projects and initiatives
• Supervises an HR Assistant
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements
• Experience in progressively more responsible human resources leadership roles, seven (7)+ years of human resources business partner experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred
• Entertainment industry experience preferred
• HR CoE experience a plus
• Ability to partner with, coach, and influence business leaders
• Proficiency at translating business priorities into human resources strategies that can be practically implemented to help business achieve its priorities
• Deep experience with coaching and developing entry-level individuals
• Strong experience in employee relations; ability to gather insightful information to make informed decisions
• Ability to practice diplomacy and troubleshoot with logic, wisdom and grace.
• Extensive technical expertise across multiple human resources disciplines (i.e. coaching, employee relations, talent development, succession planning, performance management, etc.)
• Proven capability to partner with the resources in centers of excellence to design tools and processes required to deliver human resources strategies while maintaining accountability for execution
• Experience building tools and processes for understanding capabilities required for jobs, workforce forecasting, and talent identification
• Capability to guide the business through small and large scale change initiatives, developing and utilizing change management tools and approaches
• Strong operational excellence skills
• Ability to deliver results in a highly dynamic and ambiguous environment
• Ability to build relationships and influence in a manner that drive results at all levels of the organization

Location

Based out of the Los Angeles. This hybrid role requires 4 days onsite in the Los Angeles office.

Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $140,000-$188,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria. Salary Details
Salary Range: $140,000 to $188,000 Per Year ($ USD)
